Q: Can I rollback to Windows 7?

A:

After you upgrade the system to Windows 8, you can still use F3 recovery to rollback to Windows 7 from Window8 or use the recovery discs made by MSI BurnRecovery Tool.

Q: How to remove the previous Windows installation to free up the disk space?

A:

You will notice that you will have a C:\Windows.old folder that contains copies of files from the previous Windows installation. If there's nothing in them that you would like to copy back into Windows 8, then you could use Disk Cleanup to delete the Previous Windows installation(s), Temporary Windows installation files, and Windows upgrade log files items to free up the large amount HDD space that they take.

A. Run Disk Cleanup (Control Panel>>System and Security>>Administrative Tools>>Disk Celanup)

B. Click on OK

C. Click on Clean up system files

D. Click on OK again

E. Select Previous Windows installation(s), Temporary Windows installation files, and Windows upgrade log files and click on OK

 

Q: The Microsoft Office Starter 2010 - English is not compatibility.

A:

Please go to Microsoft Office website and download Office Web Apps instead.

Q: The Norton security is not compatibility. (Windows 8 upgrade process will prompt to uninstall.)

You need to either run Norton LiveUpdate the latest one before updating Windows 8 or download the latest one from Norton website

Q: The Windows 8 does not support DVD play.

A:
