This weekend, June 27-28, teams from across Europe, Middle East, and Africa will be vying for 2 slots to the MSI MGA (Masters Gaming Arena) Heroes of the Storm Grand Finals in Seattle.
With the Asia (Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau) and the China qualifiers all wrapped up, it is now time for the European (Europe, Middle East, Africa) Qualifier as teams in the region will fight to prove who is worthy to be invited to Seattle on August 28-31. Europe is currently the top region in terms of team participation and interest in the game as a whole, and this qualifier is set to be the most anticipated thus far.
The qualifier begins on Saturday, where registered teams duke it out through a grueling bo3 single-elimination bracket. The last four teams to remain standing at the end of the first day will proceed to the finals, to be held the next day, Sunday. There, they will be joined by the four invited teams seeded directly into the playoffs.
