The EU qualifier for the MSI Masters Gaming Arena (MGA) - Heroes of the Storm has drawn to a close, with Team Liquid and Virtus.Pro (formerly Team ASH) securing their trips to PAX Prime at Seattle, USA, later this year where the MSI MGA Grand Finals is set to take place.
Team Liquid, led by former SC2 superstars in the form of the Duran brothers, LucifroN and VortiX, made good use of their direct invite into the playoffs by sweeping both fellow-Spanish team Huron, as well Na'vi in order to make their way to the top two.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the bracket Team ASH, a returning team from day one, and considered to be one of the hottest teams in the EU HotS scene right now, defeated Fnatic and Gamers2, two directly invited teams, in order to book their own tickets to Seattle.
Upon claiming their seed in the MGA grand finals, Team ASH was quickly picked up by Russian esports powerhouse Virtus.Pro.
The overall champion will qualify for the overall MSI Masters Gaming Arena grand finals to be held in Seattle, USA later this year, as part of PAX Prime 2015.
