MSI Afterburner app is a free app available for mobile devices and tablets, that allows wireless monitoring and adjustment of settings in the desktop utility.

MSI offers this as a free utility for all computer enthusiasts.

Is the app needed to run Afterburner?

No. You can run Afterburner on your desktop computer without using this app. This app is meant to compliment your desktop overclocking experience.

How is it different from the software on my computer?

The Afterburner app is designed as a compliment to the desktop software, offering remote overclocking and monitoring of discrete graphics cards via a local wireless network.

Can you use both Afterburner & the Afterburner app together at the same time?

Yes. You will need to have the desktop program running in order for the Afterburner app to function properly.

What graphics cards is this app compatible with?

It is compatible with any video card that is supported by MSI Afterburner.

I do not own a MSI video card. Will it work with it?

Yes, MSI Afterburner works with all video cards. But with specific MSI video cards, you can unlock extra features and functionality. For a complete list of MSI video cards, please visit http://us.msi.com/product/vga/.

Can I save/edit/load profiles?

Yes. Profiles are saved and loaded via the desktop Afterburner application. After making changes via the Android app, be sure to save the profile in Afterburner desktop.

Do the settings apply/save after a reboot?

Yes, as long as the changes were saved in one of the 5 profile slots available on the desktop Afterburner.

Can I use Bluetooth instead of WiFi?

No, at this time we do not have Bluetooth support for this app.

Is there support for SLI or Crossfire?

We will be adding multi-GPU functionality soon via new update of Afterburner app.

If I have a CrossFireX/SLI graphics card setup, will the app adjust the performance values of both cards?

Yes, as long as you have forced changes to both GPUs via Afterburner desktop.

Can I use this app to overclock the integrated graphics on my AMD/Intel CPU?

Afterburner only works with discrete graphics cards.

Does it have tablet support?

Yes, the Afterburner app is supported on all versions Android 2.1 and above.

What kind of a (wireless) connection would I need to have for my phone to connect to my computer?

A local 802.11b/g/n network is needed for connectivity.
