MSI present Beat IT 2014 Global

The MSI Beat It Gaming Tournament can be traced back to 2010, where the first tournament was hosted by MSI. The vision is to create a platform for all gamers to show their gaming skills and enjoy the competition against the best players in the world. The MSI Beat IT tournaments have made some of the top players of our time famous and provided players who want to enjoy gaming an unforgettable experience with the MSI Beat It Gaming Tournament Series.

For the MSI Beat IT 2014, $113,500 in Prizepool and travel support is available for the Global StarCraft 2 tournament and the Dota 2 Competition.

As in the previous MSI Beat It, we will host several Qualifiers for each region to determine the best players and teams. More information regarding the qualifiers can be found below. The best teams of each season will then compete in the Grand Finals which will be held in Taipei, Taiwan. But the MSI Beat It Tournament Series is not only something for the players, but also for the fans. Once again Fnatic and MSI have prepared several competitions for the fans, where you can win awesome prizes from Fnatic and MSI.

For the StarCraft 2 Tournament, there will be six qualifiers for the following regions: Europe, USA, APAC, South Korea, SEA and Australia. These qualifers are, depending on the region, split into a Pre qualifer and a Main qualifer where up to 64 players can take part. Finally the best 12 players will compete in Taiwan in the Grand Finals. The Prizepool for the StarCraft 2 tournament is $26,000. The Dota 2 Tournament will feature eight qualifiers (USA, Europe, China, Africa, SEA, Australia, MEA). Again there will be, depending on the region, pre qualifiers and main qualifiers to determine eight teams which will compete at the Grand Finals. The prize pool for the Dota 2 tournament is at $44,000.
